Modular gas standards generating system uses special permeation tubes which add precisely known concentrations of sulphur compounds to nitrogen, ethylene or propylene matrix. The system is configured with two permeation ovens and a secondary dilution module that can produce mixtures containing H2S, COS, and a range of higher boiling sulphur compounds such as dimethyl sulfide and thiophene to assure good total sulphur accuracy. Concentration can be varied for multi-point calibration. An internal microprocessor system sets dilution flows and selects the proper operating mode to create specified concentrations.
