Manufacturer says the system offers significant benefits to scientists, especially those working in synthesis and purification. It is designed to provide smooth, controlled solvent removal in optimum time. The system works by carefully controlling the reducing pressure in the evaporation chamber in combination with an increase in rotor speed to achieve greater g-force.
An independent study demonstrates how the anti-bumping system was able to prevent solvent bumping from occurring in all the samples tested.
