Evolved gas analysis (EGA) is designed for characterizing the thermal behaviour of organic and inorganic solids or liquids in more detail and elucidating the chemistry behind the processes under investigation. The Perseus STA 449 F1/F3 combines proven technologies from two instruments: the Netzsch STA 449 F1/F3 Jupiter and the ALPHA FT-IR spectrometer by Bruker Optics. The manufacturers say its design sets a benchmark for state-of-the-art coupling systems.
